For our second employee spotlight, we get to know Mark Amott, who is an Associate of MyPS. With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Mark specialises in business and marketing strategy for professionals in the healthcare sphere.

1. Introduce yourself and your role at MyPS

I am an associate at MyPS. I’ve worked in various aspects of healthcare for over a decade and more recently have enjoyed continuing that focus through working with My Practice Services.

2. What is the best part about working at MyPS?

I enjoy applying my business skills to practices which can make material gains through simple but important changes. Helping practice owners and managers understand the business side of things better is a great experience.

3. Why did you choose to work in the healthcare industry?

My family have mainly worked in healthcare. It also has a significant people focus, which provides something more than just financial returns.

4. How would you define success?

Better run practices with better clinical and non-clinical outcomes, however that is defined.

5. Tell us more about who you are outside of work

I have lived in Melbourne since arriving for university in the 1990s. I enjoy being active and exploring my local community in the Bayside.
